Actual clothes sounded great, as much as he didn't really care what he wore so long as he had movement, after going solo and able to pick out his own clothes to blend in with the crowds and such, he had developed a taste for certain items of clothing, and really missed wearing them. Breakfast was another good idea, but he wasn't sure how much he would be able to eat now that he was sure his stomach had shrank. Guess he'd have to find out soon.

"Hey, I noticed you like to read, got any good books I can hunt for?" He asked, nodding to the small pile Jordan had gathered from around the room. He loved to read, mainly about past crimes and history, shutting the door behind him as jordan left the room.

Was he actually trying to strike up a conversation? Was this guy really that desperate? Had he not picked up on her trying to smash his skull in the previous night? Jordan decided that no, he in fact hadn't picked up on any of these things, and was just a complete idiot. Ignoring idiots was always the best way to go about things.

Leading him down the hall in silence, passing a few other Soldier's on their way to breakfast, who gave her rather dirty looks, and shot sympathetic glances toward Alexis, Jordan kept her head down and her hands in her pockets, the jacket done up to her chin protectively.

It was quite a walk to the cafeteria from the dorms, the vast amount of dorms actually quite a feat on it's own, but when they got there the various aromas that wafted from the room would have made anyone's mouth water.

"So, the best set of books I ever got the chance to actually finish was a set called 'The Lioness Rampant' By Tamora Peirce. Beautiful set of books, the main girl, Alanna, was just so cool!" Alexis said, raving on about books and a video he once saw, and the news and how boring that was to watch and everything he did in between killing people in the name of Scriosta, following Jordan a step behind her, smiling at the pitied looks he was given as they walked down the many halls, past all the dorm rooms to the food hall.

The food hall, in itself, was amazing. Military styled seating of tables to hold six people at each, the cafeteria ordering station lining the wall at the back where you could grab a tray, load it up and eat. The smell though, the teen's stomach gurgled with a sudden painful hunger, wanting to leave Jordan's side to rush over and grab anything and everything he could carry.

But no, he waited like a good boy for his guide to take him over there.

Jordan gave a quick glance around the room before deviating off toward the back of the shortened line. Not many people were out of bed yet, it seemed, the lazy bastards. Rache had gotten too slack with them; given them too much freedom. But why was she complaining? The less food, the less amount of glowering stares.

The line moved along quickly, Jordan grabbing a steel tray as she went past the stack and just expecting Alexis to do the same. If he followed her, he'd pick up on things quickly. If not, it was his problem.

Filling her tray with all sorts of things, the Soldier quickly moved on from the line, the beauty of the cafeteria being the free food when compared to everything else.
Not bothering to wait for Alexis, Jordan moved out from the line and bypassed the rest of the food, making her way out past the full tables toward the back of the cafeteria.

Like a big-ass school, the Aufstand had the jack-offs that liked to mess with people, and evidently liked being beaten up. One moment, Jordan was on her feet, the next, she was sprawled on the ground, her breakfast now nothing more than a mess on the linoleum. The clattering crash caught the attention of most Soldier's around them, though the main attraction was the meat head laughing; an obvious culprit that didn't know when to quit.

Picking herself up, Jordan collected the tray from the floor, abandoning her breakfast on the ground; it was a waste anyway.

The amount of people in the room wasn't very many, Alexis following Jordan closely and pretty much copying her every move, tray loaded up with almost the same things as Jordan, seeing as his pallet for food wasn't very big, figuring that if he tried everything she did, and he didn't like it, he could just give it to her.

Tray in hand, Alexis was three steps behind the silent guide, looking at something on the floor before his head snapped up to the clattering on the floor, Jordan now picking herself up, her breakfast plastered all over the floor and a group of idiots laughing at her.

The teen sighed, walking up to Jordan and taking the empty tray from her. "Here," He said, handing her his tray and pushing her away lightly a little. "You go eat up and I'll get more..." And then swung the tray into the face of the one who tripped her up. "And you, grow up, you fucking little child. I'm surprised you've survived as long as you have, and one day, that person you tripped up, will probably be the fine line between you living your free life, and you dying a slave."

Blood flowed from the Soldier's nose, dripping between his fingers as he attempted to hold his face, the rest of his table watching in pure shock that the new recruit had had the guts to do that-- and to stand up for that freak. But none of them retaliated far from ugly glares and simple insults.

Jordan, however, had quite simply abandoned Alexis, taking his tray of food and roughly setting it down on an empty table, sliding it across the the opposite side to where she stood before slumping onto the bench, one hand holding her head and the other holding her ribs. She didn't need him to stand up for her. He shouldn't have done that, the bastard. Now he was going to get grouped in with her and she'd never hear the end of the fact that a newbie had to fight her battle.

But she'd get the jerk-off who'd tripped her back. Public humiliation was one thing, but at least in the shadows no one could see her tear his balls off and shove them down his throat. Something like that would probably get her in trouble.

Throwing the tray onto the table closest to the group, Alexis left the curse words and dirty looks to go and get some more food, huffing as he waited in line once more, gathering up all he had on the plate he gave to Jordan before she left, exiting the line and looking around.

Jordan was eating, all alone at her table, the guys still growling at him as he scanned the area for somewhere else to sit, picking a small table close to where he was and as far away as possible from both parties. He needed a moment alone as he ate his breakfast.

Jordan didn't even look up from the tray of food. She was barely even eating it, picking at the eggs with a fork, half lifting a slice of bacon before letting it drop to the plate. Eventually she gave up and roughly slid the tray away from her, standing from the table and, snatching the bottle of juice from the tray, stalked from the room.

It was almost like she'd forgotten all about the fact that Alexis had no idea where he was going when it came to the area, but really the fact was that she didn't care. She was back to the strict 'ignore him' rule, and wasn't about to make an exception.

Someone would feel sorry for him, take him under their wing like she was supposed to.

Watching Jordan leave, the fowl mood Alexis was put in from the idiots causing trouble didn't look like it was going to get any better, sighing and burying his face into the crook of his arm as he leaned on the table, poking the last bits of his food with the fork.

Guess it was up to him to explore, or find Rache, Jordan did say that he did want to meet up with him if he could. The way he figured it, if he wasn't supposed be there, where ever he ended up, someone was bound to tell him that, so getting up from his seat, smoothing down his shirt and giving the group who were persistently still glaring at him the finger, he left the food hall in search of an adventure.

Every now and then as he roamed about, finding the nurse's station once more and waving hello to the nurse he seemed to have grown fond of, Alexis would glance over his shoulder, just in case.

Jordan disappeared for the rest of the day, finding peace in the training rooms, going through heavy bags like they were pillows and ignoring her bleeding knuckles; it was really the only way she could get out her frustration.

As for the meat-heads, they didn't bother anyone else in the cafeteria; didn't follow Alexis or Jordan. They merely got on with their day.

Rache was in a more relaxed environment, though relaxed he was hardly. He hadn't slept, his breakfast remained untouched on his desk, and he was thumbing through files of what one could assume were recruits. Eventually he gave up, tossing the files haphazardly into the centre of his desk and leaning onto his hands, letting out a heavy sigh. He wondered if Alexis could find his office-- he also wondered if both he and Jordan were still alive, or if they'd managed to kill each other. Though, really, he would have heard if they had.

"You know, you are looking worse and worse each time I see you..." Alexis said from the door to the office, shaking his head at the rebel leader as the man sighed, entering the room and shutting the door behind him, padding his way over to the desk and sitting on the corner of it, rather than the chair.

"I know I'm new here, but... if you don't start looking after yourself, who... who is going to look after us if you fall?" He asked, pushing the plate toward the leader with a smirk. "Do I have to feed you myself?"

Rache glanced up from his paperwork, surprised to see Alexis, let alone Alexis by himself.
"Did you not stay with Jordan?" He asked, half-heartedly sitting back in his seat and sliding the plate into a more central position in front of him, picking up his fork and tentatively prodding at the eggs.

He wasn't particularly keen on discussing his well-being, or that of the Aufstand, with anyone, let alone a new recruit who was still going through his trial phase.
"So I'm assuming you're finding things okay?" He asked, lazily forking a heap of food into his mouth and chewing slowly, eyes on the young Soldier.

Shaking his head, Alexis rubbed the back of his neck as he explained the situation to the leader. "Jordan and I got into a fight cause I fell asleep in the bath and when woken, I knocked the offending hand away from my shoulder. Jordan knocked me to the ground when I offered a hand up and one thing lead to another and I broke a few ribs... I think," He said, standing from his seat to pace around the room a little, continuing his story.

"This morning, Jordan got into a little trouble while in the food hall and so I think I broke someone's nose with a tray because they tripped up my guide. I think I upset Jordan even more, so when she left, I set about exploring myself and... well, ended up here."

Rache shook his head as he listened, shovelling another mouthful in, and running his eyes over Alexis, examining him. "I see she didn't manage much in the way of disabling you." He speculated, prodding at the rest of the food on his plate before pushing it away. He just.. Didn't feel hungry.

"I assume you'll want a new room mate then?" He asked; he'd expected as such. But it was always worth a try; Jordan was just such a pain. He'd just hoped that maybe the two would last a little longer than, well, twenty-four hours.

Though it seemed the older man was more tired than he thought. He ran over Alexis' words again in his mind, pausing. He'd referred to Jordan as a 'she'. So he knew? Lifting his gaze back up to Alexis' face, he leant forward on his desk, resting his elbow on the hard wood surface.
"Hold on." He stated before Alexis even had the chance to speak. "You know Jordan's female." Tapping his fingers on the desk, he carefully chose his next words. "Did you.. This trouble, this tripping in the cafeteria-- it wasn't because people found out, was it?"

Jordan wasn't, by far, his favourite recruit, but he respected her decisions and understood why she'd made them.

Just because Alexis didn't look sore, didn't mean he wasn't. Moving out of a combination of speed and strength was hard enough without having stitches that tore out and bruising that didn't like being moved too much. Plus, he was pretty sure she ripped a chunk of hair out of his head. "Yeah, I know that Jordan's a girl. She confused the heck out of me at first, but when my punch landed on her ribs, that's when I was sure about it. Training at Scriosta is a lot more focused on shaping of the body just in case they are hiding gender now... well, everything at Scriosta has been intensified before I was pulled out..." Alexis replied, still pacing in a very even circle around the office.

"It's none of my business why she's hiding, nor do I really care. I told her I'd keep it a secret though, and no, I don't want to change rooms. She's just going to have to put up with me. The reason for the tripping up in the lunch room was that they were being dickheads and so I returned the favour. I just don't think that injuring a team mate, even an indirect team mate, is fair."

Rache gave him a warm smile and sat back, stretching out in his chair before standing.
"That's good to hear kid." He admitted, rounding the desk to stand in front of him. "But enough about that. Are you okay?" The leader's eyes trailed down to Alexis' arm curiously; the stitches were fresh. At least he'd had the sensibility to go see a nurse after the fight.

As it were, he was sick of paperwork, and if Jordan wasn't going to show him around to keep him to his schedule, the Rache would. He'd make sure that Alexis, at least, got his own selection of clothing. Would take him to lunch, and if they ran into Jordan, he'd hand the recruit off and go back to his office. He only hoped that Jordan had returned to the dormitories; that would give him reason to avoid his office.

Alexis stopped a moment before running head long into the older man now standing in front of him, blocking his pacing circle and earning a look of curiosity as to why his path was blocked. Wasn't the man supposed to be doing paperwork? Those eyes roaming over his form to check if he was alright, the teen stared down at the floor, toeing it a little. "I'm fine," He lied a little, he was sore, but he wasn't going to bother the man trying to run an army about a few bruises and cuts that he already knew about. Nor was he going to worry the guy about various petty thoughts he was having. He'd figure them out sooner or later.

The small reply was hardly convincing, but Rache shrugged it off. If Alexis didn't want to tell him, then that was his business.
"Well then," He announced, grabbing the teen's shoulders and angling him toward the door, "We should continue that tour, huh?" Without effort, he began marching Alexis out of his office, making sure to close and lock the door behind him on the way out.

"I'm going to assume that you want to be able to get to training on time, so we should probably get you accustomed to where everything is, so you don't have to rely on anyone else." They ran a very on-your-own training program here. Most people were nice enough to help if you were lost, but if you were to come across those that weren't, it usually didn't end well.

"Are all the people here a bunch of assholes then? By the sound of it, you either learn yourself, or suffer," He asked, being spun around and pushed for the door, now standing in the hall as Rache locked his office and pocketed the key.

"I found most of the places myself already, I found the boxing ring and figured that was were people settled differences?" Alexis followed up. "And I was told that I'm not allowed to train for the next three days? Well, two days now, yeah? This place is so confusing, it's like a maze. Was that intented? You know, for like if this place was invaded?"

Curiosity. Alexis was full of it at the moment.

"Just full of questions.." Rache murmured, more to himself, placing his hands on Alexis' shoulders once more and carting him toward a T-intersection in the hallways, letting go half way and hoping the kid would take the hint and continue following.

"You're right on all accounts. The assholes, the learning and suffering, the boxing ring, two days and yes, this place is a maze on purpose." He replied, counting off the teenager's individual questions on his fingers as he answered them. He took the sharp turn right down the split hallway and continued talking.

"It's pretty easy to find your way around here once you're used to it." Rache stated, glancing back at Alexis as if to make sure he was still following. "We'll go get you some clothes, show you around the dorms properly, could probably let you dump your stuff in there at the same time;" The leader was running through the tour-plan out loud, more to himself than Alexis, mumbling and tapping each item off on his fingertips.

Either he was past the point of exhaustion, or this was just how he was when he wasn't all business.

Alexis was amused by the ramblings, his questions answered and when he was let go, he was only a single step behind as Rache moved through the facility, making sure he picked out notches in the walls to remind himself of which way was which. If he was gonna survive, it was obvious that he was going to need to know instead of mucking around like he was.

"Rache... so that's obviously a nickname, or your parents had a sick sense of humor to call you 'revenge' in german. You're not german, are you? I don't know what I am, I think I'm Irish," And the ramblings continued as they walked, ranging from what he had for breakfast, finding new foods that he liked and how nice the nurse was when he stopped by for a chat and how she helped Jordan when he asked her to, nearly turning into talk of Scriosta, Alexis suddenly clamming up, falling silent.

Explaining his name wasn't something he often did. Yes, he was German; he'd managed to have the accent beaten out of him during his time in Scriosta, forced to speak like everyone else. He commented on the nurse, Nora her name was, she'd been with him since he left Lynch; his first follower and one of his best friends.

The chatter and rambling continued absently as they rounded corners and went down halls that seemed to go back on themselves, almost taking them in circles and going down stairs, flights and flights of stairs. Eventually, though, they came across what seemed like a variety of small shopping outlets, created for the Soldier's leisure when they weren't training. It was like a small city, the facility, built to please and built to protect. But this was also the home of the civilians of the Aufstand; those who chose not to fight.

Such civilians were scattered amongst the stores, lazily strolling, shopping for groceries and socialising.

Though the real question was; how had Rache managed to build all this? How'd he get the money? These things he'd never answer. Though the truth was similar to the legend of Black-beard; Always passing on the name, the legend, to a new, fresh mind.

Alexis listened to each answer given with great interest, nodding as he listened to Rache speak a little of his time with Scriosta, and how his accent was removed from his person, asking if it returned slightly when people who had an accent spoke around him. He asked this because when he was in Ireland for a while on a mission, he spoke a little oddly, having gone through the same accent removal program which is why he said he thought it was Irish before.

The talking stopped in awe of the small shopping mall, the lines of clothing stores and food stores, the slight aroma of coffee coming from the food court, it was amazing. "Whoa... and all this is free to buy? How do normal people earn their keep here? So Soldiers and citizens are allowed to mingle then? What if you make a friend with the normal people? They aren't allowed in the soldier dorms, but can we go visit them at their place?"

Yeah, Alexis found out that he liked to talk, and liked to know about everything, and get him in the right mood, and he'll talk about everything.

So the kid liked to talk. Great. At least now Rache actually had someone to talk to. All the other recruits were somewhat like Jordan; quiet, kept to themselves or their peer groups. It was kind of lonely. Just because he was the rebel leader didn't mean he didn't like having friends.

"It's not exactly free." He stated. "The civilians all have jobs that they have to do in order to earn their share. It's almost communism, I swear." Rache murmured, rubbing at his forehead with the palm of his hand. "But everyone earns their keep; Soldiers earn through missions, mostly bounties-- some even take up part time jobs down here. Though it's not usually recommended." Slipping a key-card from his back pocket, the Aufstand leader held it out to Alexis.

"This is yours, by the way. It's the reason I wanted to see you. It's so you can collect pay at the end of each week. It kind of works like a credit card around here." Things seemed to get more confusing as the day went on; now the place had it's own damn money system, on top of it's own shopping centre and civilian community.

Turning the card over in his hands, examining the detail before smiling, Alexis slipped the card into his pocket, looking around once more quickly before turning back to Rache, still smiling. "So, what's my limit until I start training, and should I get a job until I do a mission to earn money back?" He asked, starting to bounce on the balls of his feet in the newest area to explore.

"Is there a curfew for Soldiers to be back in the dorms? Should I bother to mingle with the normal folk? I don't wanna get into trouble, so I'd like to know now.... rather then later."
